INVITATION TO THE GLOBAL BUSINESS SERVICES (GBS) CHALLENGE 2016 GRAND FINALE

Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) is pleased to invite members of the media to the Global Business Services (GBS) Challenge 2016 Grand Finale.
The event will be held as follows:

Programme
9.00am : Media Registration
9.30am : Opening speech by Dato’ Ng Wan Peng, Chief Operating Officer of MDEC
10.30am : Pitching & Judging
3.00pm : Closing speech by Johan Mahmood Merican, Chief Executive Officer of TalentCorp
3.15pm : Prize giving ceremony & group photo
3.30pm : Event end
Jointly organised by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and TalentCorp, the GBS Challenge 2016 is a competition which is designed to give young Malaysian talents meaningful exposure to the GBS sector, which is fast gaining momentum with over 350 foreign and multinational companies setting up their regional and global centres here in Malaysia.
The GBS Challenge 2016 Grand Finale will see 12 teams of public and private university undergraduates presenting solutions to real-life case studies provided by 13 participating employers including Shell, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and VADS, to name a few. The competition will also serve as a platform to foster closer working relationships between industry and academia towards producing industry-ready graduates.
