INVITATION TO ATTEND PUBLIC SECTOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE 2016 AND PRESS CONFERENCE WITH IAN BALL, CHAIRMAN OF CIPFA INTERNATIONAL

The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) are pleased to invite members of the media to the Public Sector Financial Management Conference 2016 and press conference with Ian Ball, the Chairman of CIPFA International, a globally recognised membership body for the public sector.

Ian Ball will be delivering his keynote presentation on Shaping Sustainable Finance to Drive Public Financial Management at the Public Sector Financial Management Conference 2016. The theme of the conference this year is Driving Improvements in Service Delivery.
Ian Ball is a board member of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and chairman of its Working Group. He was the CEO of IFAC (2002–2013), member of IFAC’s Nominating Committee and Chairman of its Public Sector Committee.
This conference will focus on how the ongoing transformation of the Malaysian and global public financial management systems can further be enhanced to benefit the public and country as a whole.
After the press conference, members of the media are welcome to stay on for the rest of the sessions at the Public Sector Financial Management Conference.
