INVITATION TO PRESS CONFERENCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE NATIONAL CODE CHALLENGE 2016 BY YBHG. TAN SRI DR. MOHD IRWAN SERIGAR BIN ABDULLAH SECRETARY GENERAL OF TREASURY, MINISTRY OF FINANCE MALAYSIA

The National Code Challenge 2016 (NCC) is a finale for the participants of the Coding@Schools program (www.codingatschools.com)
The inaugural NCC will be held during the International Conference on Blue Ocean Strategy (ICBOS) / National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) Day on 14 – 18 August 2016 at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).
The NCC is envisaged to involve approximately 500 primary schools students selected from the participants of the first cohort of the Coding@Schools Immersion Camps held nationwide that involved approximately 1,500 students. A further 1,500 students will participate in the Coding@Schools programs in the second half of 2016.

9:30 am : Launch by YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Irwan Serigar Bin Abdullah, Secretary General of Treasury, Ministry of Finance Malaysia
