We would like to cordially invite members of the media to join us at the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Halal Fiesta Malaysia (HALFEST 2016), which will be officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Bin Yaakob, Minister of Rural and Regional Development, who will be delivering a speech on the potential of the Halal industry to be the engine of economic growth for Malaysia and the role of HALFEST 2016 in developing micro, small and medium Halal enterprises into market leaders.

HALFEST 2016 is hosted and organised by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, jointly-organised by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), with the strategic collaboration of the Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (DPMM) and Malaysian Muslim Consumers Association (PPIM), supported by Halal Industry Development Corporation (HDC), and co-organised and managed by Shapers Malaysia Sdn Bhd (SHAPERS).
Happening from 31st August to 4th September 2016 at the MINES International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC), Seri Kembangan, Selangor D.E. from 11a.m. to 9p.m., HALFEST 2016 is the largest Halal consumer expo in Malaysia.
