MEDIA INVITATION: F-SECURE CORPORATION CEO SAMU KONTTINEN ON THE FINNISH GIANT'S INVESTMENTS IN MALAYSIA

On behalf of Finland’s F-Secure Corporation, we would like to invite members of the media to attend a press conference in conjunction with the visit of F-Secure CEO Samu Konttinen's first ever visit to Malaysia.
The visit is intended to place greater emphasis on the Nordic company’s heightened interest and investment in Malaysia as a regional Cybersecurity hub in the Asia region. Outside of Finland, Malaysia is the only other country in the world where F-Secure has a Security Lab - located in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur - and which serves as the base for more than 170 research and development engineers. The Bangsar South headquarters also serve as the hub for the entire Asia-Pacific region.

During the media conference, Mr Konttinen will elaborate further on
- Further building on F-Secure’s already significant presence in Malaysia, and why a global leader continues to pour investments into Malaysia
- The products and processes which saw the company develop from an Anti-Virus role to prominence as global cybersecurity experts
- Cybersecurity transformation in the Malaysian market
Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)’s Vice President Norhizam Kadir will also be present at the media conference.
