INVITATION TO THE OPENING CEREMONY OF SELANGOR INTERNATIONAL EXPO 2016

It is with great pleasure that we invite members of the media to the official opening of the Selangor International Expo 2016 by YAB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Bin Ali, Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor (Chief Minister of Selangor).
Details of the ceremony are as follows:

Venue : MINES INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION & CONVENTION CENTRE (MIECC), Jalan Dulang, Mines Wellness City, 43300 Seri Kembangan, Selangor
To be organised by the Selangor State Government, through Invest Selangor, the forthcom-ing Selangor International Expo 2016 will be the biggest trade expo to be held in the state of Selangor, Malaysia - after its inauguration last year.
Focusing on three main industries i.e. life sciences, halal (products and services) and e-commerce, the event will be an ideal platform to make Selangor the Gateway to ASEAN, a business and trading hub in the ASEAN region. It will also be a good platform for both do-mestic and foreign companies to establish their businesses and trade relations, to expand and widen the scope of their businesses to the international markets.
The Selangor International Expo 2016 is regarded as an important event in Selangor’s trade and investment calendar as more intense emphasis and efforts are being placed on high-technology and capital-intensive industries to enable both the private and public sectors work in sync towards making Selangor a “Smart State”.
