SOUTHEAST ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ARTS REUNITE AT GALERI PETRONAS

GALERI PETRONAS is proud to host the upcoming exhibition titled “SEMANGAT 10: VISUAL EXPRESSIONS OF SOUTHEAST ASIAN IDENTITY” from 23 November 2016 to 15 January 2017. The exhibition showcases the artworks of 24 prominent artists from ten countries in the Southeast Asian region. (List of artists as attached)

The exhibition documents the cultural and social dynamics of a shifting society, not only to reflect the vibrancy of Southeast Asia’s contemporary art scene, but also to foster linkages among members of the Southeast Asian art fraternity, building a singular identity that projects “One Southeast Asia”.
The launch event will be officiated by Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan, Chairman of PETRONAS.
