  NATIONAL CODE CHALLENGE (II) 2016 CLOSING AND PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY

The National Code Challenge (NCC) is the culmination of Coding@Schools program. It provides students with the opportunity to compete and test their coding skills at a national level to challenge themselves to solve a specific practical problem. The NCC is the first ever national level coding challenge open to primary school students.

The first NCC was held for Group A from 14 to 16 August 2016 during the International Conference on Blue Ocean Strategy (ICBOS) in Putrajaya. The second NCC (NCC2) which is for Group B will be held from 22 to 24 November 2016 at RHR Hotel @ UNITEN, Kajang, Selangor.

The closing and prize giving ceremony will be held as follows:

25 finalist teams with approximately 150 participants from all over the country will be participating in this finale.

Coding@Schools is an initiative of the National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS) announced during Budget 2016 by the Prime Minister. The program is executed by the Ministry of Finance under the National Strategy Unit (NSU) and StartupMalaysia.org was appointed as the organizer to carry out the Coding@Schools program.
