THE LAUNCH OF BIOGRAPHY OF THE LATE SPORTS GOODS LEGEND, TAN SRI G.S GILL

Members of the media are cordially invited to the launch of biography of the late sports goods legend, Tan Sri G.S. Gill.
Details of the event are as follows:

The book is titled Tan Sri G.S. Gill, A Life Lived to Serve. Author: Nikki Lugun
Tan Sri G.S. Gill’s lifelong association with the sports goods industry began after his initial success in selling shuttlecocks. Years later he secured the relatively-unknown Adidas franchise and made it a household name. Gill’s name was firmly entrenched in the nation’s sports circles when, in 1957, he supplied sportswear and equipment to the national football team free of charge.
The book will be launched by the Olympic Council of Malaysia President of Tunku Tan Sri Imran Tuanku Ja’afar.
At the book launch, the Gill family will present a cheque to the Orang Asli Project sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of District 3300.
