MALAYSIA TO HOST ASEAN’S INAUGURAL BEACH VOLLEYBALL WORLD TOUR
Malaysia has been selected as the first country in ASEAN to host the region’s first 2017 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour – Malaysia Open. 32 top international beach volleyball athletes from 16 nations will compete for the country’s first world tour title and standing points. Malaysia will be represented by at least two teams of top beach volleyball athletes.
FIVB, the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, is the international governing body for the sports of indoor, beach and grass volleyball. The Malaysia Open will take place at Pantai Cenang, Langkawi, on Saturday and Sunday, 15 and 16 April 2017.
