On behalf of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) (formerly Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration), members of the media are cordially invited to join our highlight event of the year, the Asian ADR Week (AAW 2018). This event will take place from 5th – 7th May 2018 at AIAC’s Bangunan Sulaiman.

The Asia ADR Week is a follow-up to the hugely successful Kuala Lumpur International ADR Week (KLIAW) 2017 and KLIAW 2015 events that attracted over 400 local and international delegates and 140 esteemed speakers from all over the world.
Highlights of the AAW 2018, amongst others:
- Official launch of the Centre’s new identity;
- Keynote address by the Secretary-General of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO), H.E. Professor Dr. Kennedy Gastorn;
- Official launch of the Asian Institute for Alternative Dispute Resolution (AiADR);
- An exclusive premier, “Unveiling the Amendments to the Arbitration Act, 2005” on the Arbitration Amendment Bill (No. 2) 2018 which was recently passed by the Senate;
- AIAC’s annual construction-centric Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act (CIPAA) Conference; and
- Dedicated forums on the promotion of business and investment within the region and how the ADR framework is designed to complement the expansion expected from the commercial industry.
