OPENING CEREMONY & CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Members of the media are cordially invite to attend the MIA Conference Opening Ceremony.
Details of the event are as below:

Time: 12.00 noon – 12.45 p.m
Venue: Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur
The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) flagship event, the MIA Conference 2018 will be held on 9 - 10 October at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. With the theme, "Riding the Digital Wave, Leading Transformation", this year, the Conference is targeted to attract around 3,100 Malaysian and International delegates. The Conference this year takes a deeper dive into how accountants can embark on technology driven transformational initiatives and apply the right tools to lead organisations to move up the value chain.
The MIA Conference will be officiated by the Deputy Finance Minister, Ministry of Finance, Yang Berhormat Dato' IR Haji Amiruddin Hamzah.
The MIA cordially invites you and a photographer as well as your TV crew to cover this conference. Media representatives are welcome to cover any sessions during the conference. To facilitate media needs, a media working room will be available for the 2 days. Also, there is live feed of the sessions from the Plenary Hall. We would also be pleased to arrange any request for an interview of the relevant speakers (subject to the speaker's availability). The full conference programme is enclosed.
