INVITATION TO ATTEND THE VIRTUAL MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTANTS INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTANTS CONFERENCE 2021 (MIA CONFERENCE 2021)

The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) would like to extend our invitation to all media representative to cover THE VIRTUAL MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE OF ACCOUNTANTS INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTANTS CONFERENCE 2021 (MIA CONFERENCE 2021)
The details of the Conference are as follows:
Day/Date : Tuesday – Thursday 8 – 10 June
Time : 9.00 am – 6.00 pm (Login starts at 8.00 am)
Accountants play a pivotal role in nation building, and the MIA Conference is one of MIA’s key initiatives aligned with its responsibility in developing the accountancy profession in Malaysia to ensure its future relevance and continuing national contributions. As the regulator and developer of the accountancy profession functioning under the purview of the Ministry of Finance, MIA is committed to upskilling and transforming accountants to deliver added value as trusted advisors on ethical value creation and business continuity in the digital economy. This in turn enables accountants to uphold good governance and the public interest in line with the profession’s nation building purpose.
With the theme “Navigating a Sustainable Future with Agility and Resilience”, the MIA Conference 2021 aims to equip accountants with the requisite knowledge and tools to support and drive sustainability holistically, through business continuity and sustainability, climate solutions and digital empowerment.
The MIA Conference 2021 will be officiated by the Finance Minister, Ministry of Finance, YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz
Media representatives are welcome to cover any session during the conference.
