MEDIA INVITE: IBM - MEDIA BRIEFING ON NEW Z16 MAINFRAME

Today, fraud detections models are only run on less than 10% of high-volume transactions due to latency, cost, and customer friction issues – meaning a significant amount of fraud are going undetected.
To help close this fraud detection gap, IBM recently unveiled the z16 mainframe, which brings real-time artificial intelligence (AI) to enterprise workloads like credit card, healthcare and financial transactions at scale for the first time. For banks, this translates to the ability to avoid 60% of fraud today – the equivalent of about US$329 billion (approximately RM1.4 trillion).
The z16 mainframe is the first quantum-safe system, designed to protect organisations from "harvest now, decrypt later" threats.
