KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 (Bernama) -- We are pleased to inform that the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) in collaboration with the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) will host the virtual National Tax Conference 2020 @ NTC2020 via live streaming on 25 and 26 August 2020 with the theme Navigating Tax Through Challenging Times.

The NTC is an annual key tax education programme of IRBM and CTIM which receives encouraging response from professionals including tax practitioners, accountants, auditors, corporate members and academics from local higher education institutions. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, IRBM and CTIM will be conducting the upcoming conference virtually.

Since its inception in 2001, NTC serves as a strong platform for IRBM, CTIM and conference participants to discuss current tax and economic issues. Around 1,500 delegates are targetted to attend the conference this year and the NTC is set to create history as the largest virtual tax conference ever held in Malaysia. NTC also offers 20 CPD points to delegates attending the conference.
